Geospatial and Earth System Science (GESS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by the ManEd Research Foundation. The journal provides a platform for the publication of original research articles, review papers, short communications, and case studies that advance scientific knowledge in Geospatial Technology, Geography, Geology, and Earth System Science. It welcomes interdisciplinary research integrating Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geoinformatics, Geomorphology, Climatology, Hydrology, Environmental Science, Natural Hazards, Land Use and Land Cover Studies, Urban and Regional Planning, Coastal and Marine Studies, Spatial Data Science, and sustainable management of natural and human environments. GESS is committed to promoting high-quality research, scientific integrity, innovation, and the application of geospatial technologies for understanding Earth systems and addressing contemporary environmental and societal challenges.
