Geospatial and Earth System Science (GESS) is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal committed to the free and unrestricted dissemination of scientific knowledge. All articles published in the journal are made immediately and permanently available online without subscription or access charges.

The journal believes that open access enhances the global exchange of knowledge by increasing the visibility, accessibility, and impact of scholarly research.
