A New Horizon in Geospatial and Earth System Science

Abstract

Geospatial and Earth System Science (GESS) has been established with a clear vision: to serve as an international forum for the dissemination of original, rigorous, and impactful research that enhances our understanding of geographical environments, Earth system processes, and the application of geospatial technologies in addressing contemporary scientific and societal challenges. Our objective is to foster interdisciplinary dialogue by bringing together researchers from geography, geology, environmental science, geoinformatics, public health, and allied disciplines. The journal adopts an open-access publishing model to ensure that scientific knowledge is freely accessible to researchers, educators, practitioners, policymakers, and students across the world. We believe that unrestricted access to scholarly research enhances scientific collaboration, accelerates innovation, and strengthens the contribution of science to society. Every manuscript submitted to GESS undergoes a rigorous double-blind peer-review process designed to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity, originality, methodological soundness, and ethical publication practices.
